The breed are natural clowns and wonderful companions for their humans, other cats and even dogs. One of the most endearing traits of the Cornish is their devotion to their owner, combined with a high degree of intelligence. Cornish use their paws like nimble little hands. They love heights and can usually be found on the highest available surface. They can also be taught many tricks and are eager to learn and please their owners.
